KBS Realty Advisors Names Giovanni Cordoves Assistant VP of Asset Management

Former Asset Management Associate Will Now Work with Rodney Richerson, Central Region President

Newport Beach, Calif., May 10, 2010: Giovanni Cordoves, an asset management associate at KBS Realty Advisors since 2007, has been named assistant vice president of asset management. The Newport Beach, Calif., resident will now work with Rodney Richerson, KBS Realty Advisors Central Region president, to provide asset management for the KBS Houston portfolio.

One of the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment advisors and buyers, KBS-affiliated companies currently own 154 commercial office and industrial properties nationwide totaling more than 40 million square feet.

As a KBS asset management associate, Cordoves was responsible for the financial analysis of more than 40 KBS commercial and industrial assets, and worked with property management and leasing teams to provide direct asset management leadership for a handful of high-profile properties acquired by KBS Realty Advisors, KBS REIT I and KBS REIT II.

“Gio has assumed a hands-on role leading the asset management function for several signature KBS properties, and has earned the respect of both the management and brokerage communities,” explained Richerson. “His expertise will prove invaluable as KBS continues to expand its commercial and industrial property portfolio.”

Prior to KBS, Cordoves served as a senior associate at Ernst & Young LLP for three years where he provided various professional services for several Southern California real estate firms including KBS. He received a master’s degree in accounting from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and bachelor’s degrees in business administration and accounting from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting, respectively. Cordoves is also a certified public accountant and a licensed real estate broker.
