KBS Signs Two Leases Totaling 12,465 Square Feet Near John Wayne/Orange County, Calif. Airport

Irvine, Calif. - July 24, 2012: – KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, Calif., one of the nation's leading commercial real estate investment advisors, has finalized two long-term leases totaling 12,465 square feet at its 250,867-square-foot Dupont Centre office complex in the John Wayne/Orange County submarket in Irvine, Calif.

Total Property Management, Inc. signed a new lease to relocate its headquarters from 2 Corporate Park in Irvine to a 6,812-square-foot office on the first floor of Dupont Centre Building 2301. Total Property Management, a homeowner association management firm with offices in California and Arizona, was represented by Randy Parker and Stacy Garcia of Travers Realty in Newport Beach.

Southern California home builder Stratham Communities renewed its 5,653-square-foot headquarters lease at Dupont Centre Building 2301. The company has been a building tenant since 1997. Cushman & Wakefield's Travis Boyd in Irvine represented Stratham Communities.

John Weiner, Dean Chandler and Jeff Morgan from CBRE's Newport Beach office negotiated both transactions for KBS.

Dupont Centre is located less than a mile from John Wayne/Orange County Airport. The two-building, campus-style property is close to restaurants and hotels, as well as the confluence of the 405, 55 and 73 freeways.

Built in 1986 and acquired by KBS in 2008, Dupont Centre encompasses the eight-story Building 2201, the five-story Building 2301 and a four-level, 985-space parking structure.
