KBS Capital Markets Group Adds Two Senior-level Executives

Monica Brock and Robert Nguyen Bring 25 Years of Industry Experience to the Growing KBS Sales and Distribution Entity

Newport Beach, CA- July 29, 2009: KBS Capital Markets Group (KBS-CMG), an affiliate of KBS Capital Advisors and KBS Realty Advisors, and the dealer-manager for KBS Real Estate Investment Trust I and II, has added two senior-level executives to help it accommodate expected future growth and product offerings.

Monica Brock has joined the KBS sales and distribution entity as director of finance while Robert Nguyen was named operations manager. The two bring a collective 25 years of financial industry experience to the Newport Beach, Calif.-based company. The announcement was made today by Mike Crimmins, KBS-CMG managing director and CEO.

Brock comes to KBS after 14 years with Capital Group Companies, Inc., an Irvine, Calif., firm that manages assets for pension funds and other institutional clients. In her most recent position at Capital Group, she directed a staff of 10 accountants and analysts and the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial reporting responsibilities.

The Anaheim, Calif. resident received her bachelor’s degree at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and MBA at Chapman University.

Nguyen joins KBS from Royal Bank of Canada, where he was complex operations manager for the company’s six California offices in Newport Beach, La Jolla, Long Beach, San Jose, Salinas and San Luis Obispo. In this capacity, he recruited and developed a staff of 28, coordinated initial public offerings (IPOs) and analyzed more than $10 million in daily trade activity. Previously, he was with United Bank of Switzerland and Sutro & Co.

Nguyen, a FINRA Registered Representative and resident of Irvine, Calif., earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine, and MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
