GSA Expands
at Crossways
Chesapeake, VA -- December 5, 2003: The General Services Administration
has expanded their presence by 17,622 sq. ft. at Crossways I, a 137,007 SF single-story
suburban office building in Chesapeake, VA. The GSA currently occupies 33,172
sq. ft. of space at the property and this expansion will bring their total occupancy
to 51,794 sq. ft. The expansion amendment is for a 10 year term. Crossways I
is operated by investment advisory firm, KBS Realty Advisors (www.kbsrealty.com).
With the GSA expansion, Crossways I is 72% leased. KBS Realty Advisors was represented
by Gary Randolph and Thomas Minton of CB Richard Ellis (www.cbre.com).
"We are certainly pleased to be able to work with the government and accommodate
the GSA requirement that necessitated this growth," said KBS Senior Vice
President, Peter Potrykus. "GSA had previously occupied most of the building
with another operating unit which was required to re-locate. It is rewarding
to know that they chose to return to Crossways I for these current space requirements."
