KBS Capital Advisors Names David Snyder to Post of Chief Financial Officer

Former Vice President and Controller of Nationwide Health Properties Will Oversee Growing Portfolio of KBS REIT Products

Newport Beach, CA - December 10, 2008: KBS Capital Advisors, an affiliate of KBS Realty Advisors, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate investment advisors, has appointed David Snyder its chief financial officer with responsibility for the company’s growing portfolio of non-traded publicly offered real estate investment trust (REIT) products. The announcement was made today by KBS Capital Advisors partners Chuck Schreiber, Peter Bren, Peter McMillan and Keith Hall.

In this position, Snyder will oversee the financial management of KBS REIT I and KBS REIT II, and has been elected chief financial officer of KBS REIT I and KBS REIT II by the respective board of directors of each REIT. KBS REIT I, the first non-traded REIT sponsored by KBS and advised by KBS Capital Advisors, closed its offering period in May 2008. KBS REIT II is the second non-traded REIT sponsored by KBS and advised by KBS Capital Advisors.

According to Schreiber, Snyder was selected for the position of KBS Capital Advisors chief financial officer to accommodate the company’s recent increase in REIT activity. “Our ongoing success with KBS REIT I and II necessitated a leader that can navigate the continued growth of our current offerings and help us prepare for the formation of future offerings,” he explained. “Dave, with his decade of REIT senior management experience, is a natural for this position.”

Snyder, a certified public accountant (CPA), comes to KBS after more than 10 years at Nationwide Health Properties (NYSE : NHP), a leading, Newport Beach-based public healthcare REIT specializing in senior housing, medical office buildings and skilled nursing homes. In his most recent position of vice president and controller, he participated in the four-member senior management team that helped grow total assets from $1.4 billion to $3.1 billion in four years. He also previously served as Nationwide Health Properties’ corporate controller.

Prior to Nationwide Properties, Snyder was director of financial reporting for Regency Health Services, Inc., a publicly traded skilled nursing home operator based in Tustin, Calif., and a senior accountant in the Irvine, Calif., office of Arthur Anderson, LLP. Snyder graduated Magna Cum Laude from Biola University in La Mirada, Calif., with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting. After graduation, he served as an adjunct professor of accounting at his alma mater for seven years.
