KBS Realty Advisors has created nineteen separate accounts and six commingled funds with the nation's largest pension funds and institutional investors. KBS Capital Advisors was formed in 2006 as the exclusive advisor for KBS' publicly registered, non-traded REIT products, which are designed to give individual investors the ability to invest in a similar type of real estate and structured debt as KBS pension fund and institutional partners. On November 20, 2009, KBS was declared effective for KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT* with a maximum offering size of $1.38 billion. Additionally, on March 12, 2010, KBS was declared effective for KBS Legacy Partners Apartment REIT* with a maximum offering size of $2.76 billion.
